What Kind of Food Should I eat? 該吃甚麼?





Food Rules 第二部 What kind of food should I eat? 我該吃那種食物?


(以下中文部份純屬個人意見)
26. Eat mostly plants, especially leaves.
     飲食以植物類為主,特別是吃它們的葉子,泰半做到。

27. Serve the vegetables first.
     先吃蔬菜,同意。

28. Treat meat as a flavoring or special occasion food.
      把肉當成調味用或只在節慶時享用。我家老爺是素食者我吃隨緣素,完全同意。

29. “Eating what stands on one leg is better than eating what stands on two legs, which is
       better than eating what stands on four legs.
      這是中國智慧俗諺,四條腿的不如兩條腿的,兩條腿的不如一條腿的。

30. Eat your colors.
     吃各種如彩虹般顏色的蔬果植物,做到。


31. Drink the spinach water
      據傳這是有科學意義的傳統智慧,烹煮菠菜的水含有豐富維生素,可把菠菜水加入
      或醬汁中,這個我沒聽過,會試試看。

32. Eat animals that have themselves eaten well.
      吃那些本身吃得好的動物。

33. If you have the space, buy a freezer.
     買冰櫃可大批購入肉類儲存,這點我保留 ,少吃肉多吃新鮮食物是我不變原則

34. Eat like an omnivore.
      當個雜食動物是不錯的點子,但肉類還是少吃啦!

35. Eat well-grown food from healthy soil.
      知道有機食物好,可是價錢太貴負擔不起,還是要量力而為。

36. Eat close to the earth.
      吃靠近土地的東西,食物鏈短及從產地到餐桌的時間短,有點難喔!

37. Eat wild foods when you can.
      盡量吃野生食物如野菜,野生動物魚類等,這也不太容易做到。

38. Don't overlook the oily little fishes.
      吃小魚比吃大魚好,大家都知道。

39. Eat some foods that have been predigested by cacteria or fungi.
      許多發酵食物含有益生菌,例如原味無糖優酪乳泡菜全穀類發酵麵包等可吃一些,做到。

40. Sweeten and salt your food yourself.
      自己煮食自己調味少糖寡鹽最健康,做到。

41. Eat sweet foods as you find them in nature.
      同意自然的甜味食物最好,市售調味果汁汽水等飲品盡量少喝,做到。

42. Love your spices.
      多用天然香草和香料能讓食物變得更豐富有層次,就可減少糖油鹽用量。

43. Avoid sugary and starchy food if you're concerned about your weight.
      減重就是不要吃含大量糖分和高澱粉食物,想補充的是高油的食物也別吃。

44.Don't eat breakfast cereals that change the color of the milk.
     會讓牛奶變色的早餐穀片有許多精製碳水化合物和化學添加物別吃。

45. "The whiter the bread, the sooner you'll dead."
     盡量挑選全穀類麵包食物來吃,做到。

46. Favor the kinds of oils and grains that have traditionally been stoneground.
     近年來油品等食材都出現大問題,大家來學習如何挑選好的油品和穀類等。

47. Eat all the junk food you want as long as you cook it yourself.
     偶爾吃甜食垃圾食物無可厚非,如果是自己動手做的更可盡量享用,因為不可能那麼勤勞 
      天天做啦,同意。

48. Be the kind of person who takes supplements -then skip the supplements.
      成為會吃營養補充品的人,但是別真的吃,值得思考一下。

49. Eat more like the French, or the Japanese, or the Italians or Greeks.
     怎麼沒點名中國菜呢...

50. Regard nontraditional foods with skepticism.
     對非傳統食物保持警戒心,少吃為妙, 同意。

51. Have a glass of wine with dinner.
     我完全不喝酒所以免了!  哈哈...
